West Wales is shaped as much by its landscape as by its past — a place where history, folklore and quiet tradition sit closely together. Our ghost walks explore this region through real accounts tied to real locations, from coastal towns and long-forgotten streets to castle remains, churchyards and the edges of former settlements where stories have lingered over time.

These are not exaggerated tales, but fragments of history, belief and reported experience — passed down, recorded, and sometimes still spoken about today. The focus is on what can be traced, what has been witnessed, and what remains unexplained.

Whether you’re drawn by the paranormal, interested in Welsh history or simply curious, the experience is designed to be accessible and unforced. At selected points, you may choose to take part in a hands-on investigation, or simply observe — following the stories and atmosphere as the evening unfolds at its own pace.

We don’t rely on theatrics or staged moments. Each walk is built through setting, research and careful storytelling — allowing the atmosphere to develop naturally within the environment itself.

What you’ll experience

• Carefully researched history and local accounts
• Small groups for a more focused, atmospheric experience
• Optional participation in simple investigative elements
• No jump scares, actors or forced involvement
• A grounded, thought-provoking evening shaped by place and story

The Milford Haven Ghost Walk

Milford Haven’s past is closely tied to the water — shaped by trade, industry and the lives that moved through its harbour. Beneath the modern town sits a quieter history, one that still lingers in local accounts and lesser-known stories connected to the docks, surrounding streets and nearby buildings.

This walk explores those accounts through real history and carefully researched detail, focusing on what can be traced, recorded and, in some cases, still reported today.

There are no actors, staged moments or exaggerated storytelling. The experience builds naturally through its setting — allowing the atmosphere of the harbour and town to do the work.

At selected points, you’ll have the option to take part in a simple, hands-on paranormal investigation, or simply observe as the evening unfolds.

Small group sizes ensure a more focused and immersive experience throughout.

The Carmarthen Ghost Walk

Carmarthen is often considered one of the oldest towns in Wales — a place where layers of history run deep beneath the present day. From its Roman origins to periods of conflict, disease and shifting control, the town has long been shaped by events that left a lasting mark.

This walk moves through the historic centre, exploring real accounts tied to these locations — from the legacy of early settlement and medieval life to later stories connected to unrest, belief and reported unexplained experiences.

The focus remains on what can be traced through history, alongside folklore and accounts that have persisted over time. There are no actors, staged moments or exaggerated storytelling. Instead, the experience builds through its setting — narrow streets, older buildings and spaces that still reflect the town’s past.

At selected points, you’ll have the option to take part in a simple, hands-on paranormal investigation, or simply observe as the evening unfolds. Small group sizes ensure a more focused and immersive experience throughout.

Please note: this immersive experience focusses on the town of Carmarthen and does not enter the ground of Carmarthen Castle

The Haverfordwest Ghost Walk

Haverfordwest’s past is closely tied to power, control and the structures that shaped the town. From its castle origins to its role as a centre of trade and authority, the town developed around systems designed to govern, protect and, at times, punish.

This experience moves through the historic core, exploring locations connected to those systems — from civic buildings and churches to streets where everyday life unfolded under that influence. Rather than focusing on folklore alone, the walk draws on documented history and local accounts, examining events that can be traced, recorded and, in some cases, are still reported today.

There are no actors or staged moments. The experience builds through its setting — allowing the town itself, its layout and its past to shape the atmosphere as the evening progresses. At selected points, guests have the option to take part in a simple, hands-on paranormal investigation, or observe as the experience unfolds.

Small group sizes ensure a focused and immersive experience throughout.

The Pembroke Ghost Walk

Pembroke is defined by its castle — a structure that has dominated the town for centuries and influenced everything around it. From conflict and defence to daily life lived in its shadow, the town’s history is inseparable from its position as a stronghold.

This walk explores the historic centre, uncovering accounts linked to the streets, buildings and spaces surrounding the castle — focusing on real events, local history and long-standing reports connected to the area.

The experience does not rely on exaggeration or theatrical storytelling. Instead, it builds through its setting — stone streets, enclosed spaces and locations that still reflect the town’s past. As the route develops, the focus shifts from structure and control to the people who lived within it, and the events that left a lasting mark.

At selected points, guests are invited to take part in a simple paranormal investigation using recognised equipment, or to observe.

Please note: this immersive experience focusses on the town of Pembroke and does not enter the grounds of the castle

The Fishguard Ghost Walk

Fishguard’s history is shaped by its position — between land and sea, security and exposure. The town developed across two distinct areas, each reflecting a different way of life and a different relationship with the surrounding landscape.

This experience follows that contrast, moving through the town and toward the coast, exploring accounts connected to trade, conflict and the realities of life in a place that has long existed on the edge. Rather than relying on dramatic retellings, the walk focuses on what can be traced through history and local reporting — examining events tied to real locations and the impact they left behind.

As the route progresses, the atmosphere shifts naturally through the changing setting, from structured town spaces to the quieter, more exposed harbour environment. There are no actors or staged elements. The experience is guided by its surroundings and the history connected to them.

At selected points, guests may take part in a simple, hands-on paranormal investigation, or observe as the evening unfolds. Small groups ensure an interactive experience for all.
